"Neeki"

Hailey caught this snake and the kids all had fun holding it. They named it "Neeki"! They even got an ice chest and put a blanket in the bottom. They wanted to keep it for a pet, but we wouldn't let them so they let it go by the wood pile.

New Baby Cousin

3 of Daniel's sisters were all pregnant at the same time. The last one had her baby on Monday! I already posted pictures of the other baby cousins. So these are pictures of baby Lyra. She is a cutie and looks a lot like her big sister, Syriana, when she was a baby!

Easter Day

We had a great Easter! Things started off a little rough, though. Daniel still had to go to his early morning meeting, so I had to get all the kids ready for church and give them their Easter stuff by myself. It was a crazy morning but turned out fine! We have church at 9 am and I was running a little late so didn't take good pictures of my kids, but they did look pretty cute! Ryan was a big grump all day but thats pretty normal for him.

Saturday

On Saturday we had an Easter egg hunt at my house with all the cousins here! We had a big kid side of the yard and the little kid side! They had tons of fun! This isn't all the cousins on Daniel's side, a few didn't make it in the picture! It is hard to get them to all look and take pictures when they are so excited!
Then after the hunt we went to Grandma's house to dye eggs. That is uncle Tyler in the picture helping them!
Ryan loved doing the eggs but kept almost spilling the dye!

Today I kept Ashley home from school because she woke up having a coughing spell, she hasn't coughed all day though. I went back to bed. After a while Ashley and Hailey got up, and they decided to bring Daniel and I breakfast in bed! They came in with it on cookie sheets. Daniel got Golden Grahams and Doritos and I got Fruity Pebbles and BBQ potato chips, and bottled water! They are so funny! I asked them what was up with chips for breakfast and they said it was the only thing they could think of!

Then we went to look at a house. (no we're not moving, just looking) The owner was there raking sticks and leafs and putting them in a bag. Daniel and the kids got out of the car and the girls told Daniel "we're going to go help that guy"! So they went over and helped him finish. I was so proud that they thought of helping him all on there own! My girls have been kind of crazy lately so them doing these thing today reminds me of what good girls they are and how much I love them!

Parade

We went to the St. Patricks Day Parade today! We met Daniel's family there. It was fun but cold! If we could of got a place in the sun it would have been so much warmer, but where we were it was windy and cold.
The kids were really good. They didn't complain and they loved getting candy and necklaces!

Ok so I really had a hard time coming up with 7 things about myself! Everyone might already know these things, but oh well!

1. I am horrible with desserts! I will make chocolate chip cookies and I can eat a whole batch of them to myself. Or brownies I can seriously eat the whole pan! I love them fresh out of the oven! I have no control!

2. I worry myself to death with what if questions. What if this happens or what if this. Oh I'm horrible, I get myself worked up over stupid things! I also worry all the time about things that I have no control over and stress myself out for no reason.

3. I have this weird thing that I hate feet. I have been like this forever! They gross me out and I can't stand to see people moving them. Like my mom use to put her feet on the coffee table and move them together and it would drive me insane. I know I am such a dork! My husbands and kids feet don't bother me that much, so that's good. I also can't stand other people touching my feet!

4. I love finding great deals! I like looking through clearance racks, going to thrift stores , yard sells and looking on craigslist! I get so happy when I find cute stuff for my kids or for me!

5. I love to sing and wish I had a good voice. I have always wanted to take voice lessons but won't because I am to embarrassed to sing in front of the teacher.

6. When I was a little girl we had an old neighbor named Mr. Buck. When I would sit by my mom my dad would put his arm behind my mom and reach around and grab me and they would tell me it was Mr. Bucks hand. I use to get so scared and I would always believe it. They would do it all the time you would think I would have figured out that it was my dads hand, but I didn't!

7. I am the lightest sleeper. I wake up to the littlest noises, and I also lay in bed worrying about stuff. So I never get very much sleep. No wonder I am so out of it all the time! And when my kids were babies I really never slept because I would hear every sound they made and then I would start worrying!

THAT TOOK ME FOREVER TO THINK OF 7 THINGS, I GUESS I AM JUST TOO BORING!!

Saturday

On Saturday it was semi-warm so I decided to clean my car out! It was so messy, with it being so cold I just haven't wanted to do it. The girls did a very good job helping me and they each earned $2. Ryan wanted to help but it lasted about 2 seconds. But he had a great time playing with sticks and rocks!

Daniel had a meeting all morning and when he got home we were just finishing the car, so he decided to pull the Scooters out and start them up. We haven't used them all winter! The kids love going on rides so they were so excited. It was a lot of fun but it did get a little chilly!

New baby cousin

So I have been meaning to post a picture of Daniel's sisters new baby, Gavin. He is such a little cutie and we are glad he is OK. He was born a month early due to an emergency C-section. But mom and baby are fine. He was blessed in church today and looked so cute in his little preemie suit! Daniel other sister's baby was blessed today too but I didn't get a picture of her. I did already post a picture of the girls holding her on my blog.

Busy Weekend

So last week was crazy. Daniel had a business trip and was gone from Monday to late Thursday night. So I was by myself all week. Then I left early Friday morning and went to Phoenix for Sherry's wedding. I pulled an all nighter Thursday night because Daniel got home so late then I had to get up at 3am to go. It was great going, I went all by myself, no kids. My good friend Jolyn came to the Wedding with me. I enjoyed spending time with her and laughing! So thanks Jolyn I had so much fun! It was also great to see my family! My sisters Sandi and Tami came with there families. So it was fun spending time with them and with my nieces and nephews. We went shopping on Saturday at Mills mall. It was really weird not having my kids but it was also nice not having to deal with them. I stayed one night and flew back Saturday night.

None of the pictures I took at the wedding turned out clear. My nephew Kyle walked his mom down the isle and gave her away!
