Reunion

We had a great reunion/vacation! We always look forward to our reunion in Idaho every July! My parents came with us and my sister Sandi and her family decided they needed a vacation too and met us up there! We rented a Cabin together! Daniel's family welcomed my family in great, every one got along great and had a good time! I forgot my camera so I had to take pics with Daniel's phone but I didn't take as many as I would have liked to! Some of the activities we all had fun doing was boating, jetskiing, rafting, going to Yellowstone National Park and going to West Yellowstone to the playmill! My sister Sandi's kids and my kids got along great! Ashley hung out with Kimmi, Hailey and Kadee were having so much fun, and Braden and Ryan were running around together the whole time! We are so glad my parents and Sister and family were all able to come! We had a great time with them!


So the 2nd night we were there, Ryan sprayed bug spray over a candle and his hands and ear caught on fire. It was so sad. His burns were 2nd degree, the most painful. It took 3 hours of putting his hands in cold water and on an ice pack to calm him down. You could tell he was really in pain. They don't have a hospital where we were so Daniel's cousin, Tanya called a Dr. friend and he told us what to do. Only one hand got burned really bad. It was really gross the next day his fingers were all blisters. The pictures I took were just the second day so it doesn't show how bad it actually got. His hair and eye lashes on one side are all singed, too! Poor thing! He was actually really good and happy the rest of the trip, it just sucked trying to keep his hand out of the water! What a trooper he was for the rest of the trip, having to get his hand wrapped up with medicine a few times a day! He called it his cast!

My mom and dad are up visiting us right now! It is so fun to have them here and the kids are lovin it! Then on Thursday we leave to go to our family reunion in Island Park, Idaho. It is Daniel's side of the family but we are bringing my parents along! We look forward to this reunion every year. It is Daniel's second home their in Island Park, his grandma lives their and he has been going since he was born! He use to go stay his summers there and work when he was a teenager! Any way my parent haven't been their and are looking forward to going with us! So I wont be updating for a while!

Hula Dancing Ashley

On our way up to Granby for the 4th, we stopped at the store and Daniel bought the girls hula hoops! They have been practicing a lot! Hailey can do it pretty good for a while but then she bent her hoop and can't do it as good! Ashley cracks me up, she tries to do it and looks like she is dancing! We told her to move her hips back and forth and she really got the shake down!!

Camping on the 4th

Over the 4th we went camping overnight in Granby. Daniel's sister, Rachel and her baby camped with us. His sisters Naomi and Amber and their husbands and kids, and Daniel's dad and little sister all stayed in a condo and motel in Granby. We all met up in Grand Lake that night and watched the fire works over the Lake! It was so busy up there but it was a lot of fun! It took us 2 hours to get back to our camp site which was only about 20 minutes away from Grand Lake. So we got back at about 12:30am and built a big fire and stayed up till 2am. Ryan crashed but the girls were having fun roasting marsh mellows that late! It was pretty where we camped in the mountains. We got woken up early by hearing Elk and Cows. The cows were so annoying but it was cool to here the Elk! Here are some pictures of our trip!

Colorado Sunsets

These are a few pictures I took of two different beautiful sunsets! The first one I took when we were out in NE plains of Co. The second one is when we were out at the Lake on the boat! It was so cool because you could see these rays really well. They were both very pretty, the pics don't do them justice!

Good Sales

Yesterday I went to Children's Place and got my 2 nieces each a pair of the cutest jeans for $2.99 and each a shirt for $2.99, and my nephew some overalls for $2.99. Such a good deal! And then today we went to Old Navy because it was $1 flip flops day, and most of the kids clothes were 50% off! We ended up with 3 flip flops, 7 shirts, 3 shorts, 2 leggings, 2 capris, and a hat! Gotta love those great deals! It was even worth the 20 minute wait in line with 3 kids!! I love shopping when there are cute things for cheap! Here are the girls in one of their new shirts and leggings that they picked out themselves! I have a lot fun shopping with my them now, because they get so excited about getting new things, especially when I let them pick a few things out themselves!
