Hailey's "Surgery"

It wasn't a big surgery but that is what the Drs. called it and she was so excited that she had to get "surgery"! Hailey was tongue tied, the skin under her tongue was too tight and it needed to be cut! So on New Years Eve morning she got to get it done. Poor girl has always had a problem saying some of her sounds and she had to train her mouth to get the sounds out. Now hopefully it will be a little easier for her! She did so good and the Dr. said that it was the biggest difference in anyone that she had ever seen in how much farther she could stick her tongue out. So here is a before and after picture of her. In the first one you can see how tight it was before and the second one shows how she can lift it and the tip is even curled upwards, she could never do that before!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas! Of coarse as always I didn't take very many pictures! I get too caught up in the moment and forget! We had a good Christmas eve at Daniels parents where the kids act out the manger scene with their cousins, (didn't take any pictures, dang it). Hailey was Mary, Ashley was an Angel and she read the part in the Bible and Ryan was a Shepherd. Anyway here are a few that I took on Christmas Day. All the kids in their new jammies from Grandma Jensen, she gets them new ones every year! The girls showing their new ice skates, and a picture of them and the dolls that Grandma Cottam made for them.

On Christmas Day Daniel took the kids sledding/tubing! Corbin and I chilled in the truck and watched them have fun!

I've got to say the one of the best parts of Christmas is seeing the joy in my kids faces!

We are ready to take on a new year! Hope everyone had a good Christmas!

9 months old alreay.....

A few days ago Corbin turned a big 9 months! My camera wont download my pictures onto my computer so I don't have any new cute ones to share. The other day I took this video of him, I know the quality is bad but his laugh is so cute! Ryan was making him laugh like this for a while, I finally grabbed my camera! He loves watching his brother and sisters, they can make him laugh so much! Corbin has the cutest personality! He has been crawling for a month now, not the traditional way but he scoots himself this funny way. He gets all over the house, I'll have to post a video of him doing his crawl if my camera will start downloading! He pulls himself up to the furniture and is even starting to walk along it. He is such a character he brings so much happiness to our family! He is just growing up too fast it's not fair!

My 3 bald boys! Daniel and Ryan decided to shave their heads so Corbin wouldn't feel so bad!

The Cruise

With all the problems on the way we finally boarded the ship! Almost all of Daniel's family was able to go. We had a lot of fun! It was a good experience and we would love to go on one again. The kids were all so good even on the 17 1/2 hour drive there and back! I love my kids and am so thankful they are well behaved!

Stop in Cozamel! I love the picture above with the ship in the back ground!

The girls got to get their hair done at the beach in Cozamel! They also got to get massages and they loved it!

Ryan and our adopted grandma Nancy!
The kids loved all the cool animals the housekeeping guys left for us each night!

Swimming pool and hot tubs on the ship!

Beach in Progresso! Was not as good as the beach in Cozamel!

Drive to Galveston

We had a few problems along the way! So Corbin was sick he got better but the whole trip he didn't sleep good, he never sleeps through the night but he was up every 1-2 hours every night the whole trip. Then Ryan came down with a fever the last 2 days in Az. On our drive through Texas Ryan was still just feeling so crappy so we ended up taking him to the Drs. in San Antonio. He had an Ear infection, I'm so glad it wasn't anything worse, I was afraid we weren't going to be able to go on the cruise any more. Then the night before Thanksgiving in the Hotel In Las Cruses, Hailey slipped on the side of the pool fell in and hit her head. It freaked me out. We ended up taking her to the emergency room and she had to get 4 stitches. It was so crazy all these things happening I was beginning to think maybe we weren't suppose to go on this cruise! Finally things did get better and by the time we boarded the ship the kids were fine but Daniel and I had colds. So we didn't feel our best. But it still turned out fine.
My poor sick boy at the Drs.

Hailey's stitches and black eye, poor girl!

Finally at the beach in Galveston before we boarded the ship!

Trip to Az

So we were going on a cruise on November 28th with Daniel's whole family. The girls had the whole week of Thanksgiving off of school so we decided to go the Lakeside to see my family then drive to Galveston Texas to board our ship! We had fun in Arizona and it is always so good to see my family. They even had an early Thanksgiving dinner for us on Sunday, since we would be driving on Thanksgiving day. Corbin was sick to start off with, then the last 2 days in Lakeside Ryan got sick. Here are a few pics from my moms house.

Every time we go to my mom and dads, my mom puts the girls hair in curlers, they absolutely love it!

The kids favorite thing to do is paint at grandma's house!
